4YP's Young People's Workers offer a wide range of support and lead on fun activities and groups.
Support - drop-in to see a Young People's Worker, who can provide one-to-one and group support and guidance with issues such as emotional wellbeing, housing & benefits, life skills, budgeting, and signposting to other services such as legal advice. Groups - various day and evening sessions that provide opportunities to have fun, make friends, ask questions, relax, and volunteer. There's always plenty to do. Click here to find out more about the groups.
Access to short-term counselling (6-8 weeks) to provide emotional support with more general issues is available via the counselling service at 4YP. Please see our Counselling page for more details.
4YP's Young People's Workers can offer advice, guidance, and the C-Card scheme during our usual drop-in hours.
You can also visit the iCash sexual health nurses at Terrence Higgins Trust and The Orwell Clinic for advice on sex and relationships, STI screening, or contraceptive supplies.
Our partner agency, Turning Point, are at hand to help with drug and/or alcohol related enquiry or issue you may have.
Including a shower, kitchen, laundry, computers, and a store of clothes that have kindly been donated, including outfits appropriate for job interviews.
The cooking facilities, for example, are used for providing guidance on healthy life skills and eating well on a budget.
Our confidential, live online 1-to-1 chat service that offers personalised information and advice for young people throughout Suffolk every Monday to Wednesday, 5-7pm (from 04 September 2017)
