4YP is hosting a new initiative that supports young people facing or affected by bereavement.
Led by a St Elizabeth Hospice Children and Young People's Bereavement Counsellor, young people aged 14-18 can drop in to 4YP to talk, as part of a small group in confidence about their experiences and fears. The Counsellor will offer support and advice, and the participants will offer a level of peer support.
This group will be held on the first Tuesday of every month for six months. The first was held on 03 July 2018.
Those invited to the group are bereaved teenagers local to Ipswich. Sessions run 4-5pm so as not to clash with school timetables.
Refreshments will be provided.
Pleae note - these sessions are held at 4YP but offered by St Elizabeth Hospice.
