A Message from Suffolk Young People’s Health Project
Taking into consideration the uncertain times we are all facing with the outbreak of COVID-19 (Coronavirus). We are aware that the current situation is giving cause for concern, we want to keep you informed of the measures Suffolk Young People’s Health Project (4YP) are taking to ensure services and the health and wellbeing of all, are carried out safely.
The Management Team is working hard to keep abreast of developments and to manage the situation appropriately in the best interests of staff, young people, their parents, and the wider community in which we all live. We are taking extra precautions to ensure the whole building is safe, including regular cleaning, hand sanitiser dispensers and available wash basins.
All 4YP staff and volunteers are following Government guidance related to self-isolation and social contact and we will inform you if your counsellor or youth worker becomes ill.
4YP asks that everyone accessing services follows up to date guidance and do not visit 4YP facilities or appointments if showing any symptoms. If you become ill, please give us a call on 01473 252607 as soon as possible.
Following government advice Baby and Me, Kesgrave youth club, Hintlesham youth club and Homestart group has been cancelled until further notice. However the rest of 4YP services are currently running as normal until further notice.
As the situation is changing daily, please keep an eye on our social media and website for regular updates on service delivery.
